The community of elderly sisters Marienheim has existed since 1970 in Zagreb, Vrhovec 45. In this community, there are 17 elderly and sick sisters who do not require 24-hour care.
The sisters work together to help with ironing and preparing fruit and vegetables. With their prayers and suffering, they support the needs of the church and the Congregation. They faithfully maintain the community’s routine: Holy Mass, common Liturgy of the Hours and Adoration.
On Monday, 21 April 2024, Sr. Marie-Marthe Schönenberger, Superior General, visited the community and from 21 April to 24 April 2024, Sr. Rahela Lacković carried out the visitation.
