Our sisters arrived in Hradec Králové in 2014 at the request of Monsignor Jan Vokál, the Bishop of the diocese.
Four sisters live in the community and work at the Bishop’s residence. They look after various areas: the secretariat, kitchen, garden, take care of vestments, and assist at the reception. With love and dedication, the sisters ensure a spiritual and natural atmosphere in the house, which the bishop and all guests greatly appreciate. They maintain good relations with the staff.
One sister also works as a volunteer pastoral assistant at the ‘Domov u Biřički’ care home. Three to four times a week, she visits the residents, is available to talk to them and takes part in the prayer service.
