The community was founded in 2018 with the aim of preserving the traditional medicine, culture and customs of the tribes. An experienced sister in the field of herbal and natural medicine laid the foundation for the original Ayurveda centre.
The centre is affiliated with the hospital in Tarwa. One of the sisters, who is a doctor at both locations provides medical care. Currently, the centre offers physiotherapy, full-body massage and emergency medical treatment for sisters from various congregations, priests and students from surrounding schools, as well as other patients.
A laboratory technician has recently joined the community, further complementing the medical services offered.
The community has a total of five sisters, three of them offer the various treatments, while the other two sisters mainly take care of the household and garden and devote themselves to the apostolate of prayer.
