In the Mid India province, we began our visitation in Ambikapur communities in the state of Chhattisgarh. Sr. Marie-Marthe, Sr. Sheeja, and Sr. Roseline were in the Ambikapur hospital community. It is a community of 32 sisters engaged in health ministry and teaching in a college for nursing students. The service of Holy Cross sisters in saving the lives of the people of this place is acknowledged by the people and religious communities in and around this location. Over the years the hospital has developed its quality service through better infrastructure, modern equipment, and the like. With the help of government, projects realized through the hospital, many poor people have access to better treatment. The neonatal unit and dialysis unit for the care of newborn babies and kidney patients respectfully took us back to the wonderful gift of God given life.
