Trnava: (28 -29 April)

In 1912, a small property was purchased in Trnava: a farmhouse with a cellar, a vineyard and an orchard, which were cultivated by the sisters themselves. Horses and cows were purchased, poultry was bred and efforts were made to procure everything needed to cultivate the land and vineyard. Nothing was difficult for the sisters: neither sleeping on straw at the beginning, nor walking to Đakovo and back. As time passed, the property grew larger and larger, the number of sisters who were able to work decreased and it was necessary to employ civilians.  The fruits of the harvest from the farm in Trnava serve the needs of the entire Province and as a source of income. The house where the sisters live today was built between 1963 and 1965 and consecrated in 1966.

The number of sisters in the community has visibly decreased. The house serves both as a holiday home and for various meetings of sisters. During the year, various agricultural activities are organised in which sisters, novices and candidates from the Provincial House take part. In some areas of financial management, we work together with the diocesan financial management.

Entire facilities and plots of land are at risk from landslides. Large areas of land have been converted into orchards. The Provincial Community and to some extent other communities in the Province are supplied with the fruits of the Provincial orchard and vineyard.
