The Sisters of the Holy Cross have been teaching at St. Robert’s Girls’ School in Hazaribag since 1959 and at St. Michael Montessori School since 1976. In 1978, a boarding school was built on the school grounds.

Until 2001, the sisters lived in other communities. Only then was a residential building constructed for the sisters on the grounds. This convent, Sneh Sadan, means ‘house of love’.
