Sisters in India North-East Province

The whole of our country came to a standstill on 24 March 2020 due to complete lockdown announced by our Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi due to Covid-19.
During the Coronavirus pandemic, our elderly Sisters in Asha Sadan, Balupar Patna are also well taken care of. Our Old Age Home is a powerful storehouse of prayer. Most of the elderly sisters spent time in Chapel praying for the suffering people. We experience tangibly the power of their prayers and protection of God.

The communities in Belatanr, Mahesmunda, Bathany, Bettiah, Darbhanga, Muzaffarpur, Delhi, Tripolia, Giridih, Provincial House, Patna, and other communities are also bringing solace to the less privileged and marginalized sisters and brothers affected by the lockdown through distribution of rice, pulses, wheat flour, edible oil, flattened rice, potatoes, washing and bathing soaps.
One Sister contacted Indian Railways Catering Service Department and served cooked food for 1,500 people for a week.
Our Sisters got involved in social work, conducted awareness program in the slums. Every community in the Province actively participated in helping those affected by lockdown. The services are done quietly, irrespective of creed or caste, language or place.
