The four sisters live in Bairro district, Christo Re in the middle of the simple and poor population. The area was afflicted by a six-year long drought. The people were happy that during the visitation there were frequent heavy rainfalls. They felt this as a blessing from above. The connectedness with the people is noticeable in the encounters. The sisters try to give signs of hope through pastoral and social work.
The parishioners participated in large number and celebrated with great joy the Jubilee of Sr. Eva Christa on Sunday. A triduum led to this celebration
