The community has existed since 1958 and initially ran a boarding school for girls. For some years now, various spiritual programmes for children and adults have been conducted here.
There is also overnight accommodation for tourists. The three sisters look after the groups, guests, house and garden.
The superior, Sister Andy, is responsible for the Associates (Co-members), gives religious instruction in parishes, runs courses in the house and organises holiday camps for the children.
As there are still cases of coronavirus, only Sr. Clare is allowed to accompany patients in the military hospital in Taitung under strict conditions.
Sr. Agatha supports the animation of the elderly sisters in the vicariate house in Malan.
During our stay, the meeting of the Associates and the admission of 6 new members also took place. This will be reported separately.
The offices of the Maria Theresa Foundation of the Sisters of the Holy Cross in Taiwan are also located in the building.
