From August 26th to September 5th, 2026, the Congress of Provincial Superiors will take place in Hegne, Germany.
The sisters in charge of the 12 provinces and 3 vicariates, and house USA with one of her councilors, will come together for consultations, exchange and encounters with the sisters of the General Team.
There will be 52 participants altogether. Our international Congregation which is engaged on four continents, is represented by this group of participants in the Congress.
Special aims of the Congress are: Promoting the unity within the Congregation, Celebrating the common vocation and our charism and confirm each other on this way
Dealing in a common process with the theme, Working on focal points of the theme, Offer possibilities for exchange and encounter, foster the exchange of information.
The Congress will begin with a day of silence and reflection, giving the participants the possibility for an “inner arrival” as well.
All through the Congress, the group will be accompanied by two moderator, Mrs. Anne Elisabeth Höfler and Mr. Franz-Josef Wagner.
During the Congress, Father Hans Russmann will daily celebrate Eucharist with the participants, and thus accompany the Congress spiritually.
