On 4 October, the Leadership of the Province of Italy was entrusted to the General Leadership in a festive Eucharistic celebration. The sisters of the Province and all the guests were given an insight into the events of the past years through an impressive presentation. After the Holy Mass, which Fr. Giacomo Costa S.J. celebrated, everyone was invited to have lunch and get together.
The Province of Italy is the first Province in the Congregation to be administered by the Model of Delegation of Authority.
Sr. Lucila Zovak, General Councillor, will now carry out the office of the “Delegate of the Superior General” in close collaboration with the General Leadership. She is assisted by the Legal Representative, Sr. Grazia Vittigni, who represents the Province to the civil authorities and the Italian state.
Sr. Marija Brizar, Superior General, thanked the previous Provincial Leadership, who has prepared this step with special consultants in a year long process.
Trusting in God’s guidance, we wish all the sisters of the Province of Italy, Sr. Lucila and Sr. Grazia, blessings and strength for the beginning – “Trust, God leads you”.
