The provincial house was once located here in Podunajské Biskupice. A few years ago, the sisters received part of the expropriated property, including the convent church, back from the state, but had to take care of the repairs and renovations themselves.
The time had finally come in 2021. The Marianum community was opened. The sisters are engaged in various apostolates here.
Firstly, the Marianum is home to many elderly sisters and/or sisters in need of nursing care. They are cared for by our own sisters. Individual sisters are working outside the house, e.g. catechising, translating and teaching. They also organise weekends for families and are involved in youth work and pilgrimages.
Several sisters are actively engaged in an apostolate for pilgrims of our Blessed Sister Zdenka Schelingova. Many believers come to the pilgrimage centre and the convent church with their concerns. The sisters are now delighted that the pilgrimage centre will soon be completely renovated and people will be able to find a spiritual home here.
