Our outing during the Congress took place in three stages:
Wurmsbach, the place where the first five Holy Cross Sisters made their profession on 26 October 1845.
Menzingen, the place where it all began: the first sisters moved to Menzingen on 17 October 1844.
Oberägeri, the place where Mother Maria Theresa happily taught school from 1847 to 1850.
Our journey finally took us to the holiday home of the Swiss Province. There we were treated with a delicious outdoor dining experience on the shores of Lake Aegeri.
It was a wonderful day that was good for everyone and allowed us to meet many people.
