The day-long outing to western Switzerland, offered to all the members of the congress, began early in the morning on September 4th.
Our first destination point was the Holy Cross Provincial House in Fribourg. After a warm welcome, we joined the local sisters and the local parish in a celebration of our Sunday Eucharist. Then, with great joy, the Fribourg sisters showed the congress members their newly renovated Provincial House.
Next, our journey led to the “Maison Cailler” and a visit to the House of Chocolate, followed by Vespers in the Sanctuary of Notre-Dame des Marches. Spending time with the sisters here ended a richly filled day marked by many personal encounters, conversations, and the experience of a common journey.
