At the request of the parish priest Pero Markovac, the sisters took over the sacristy and playing the organ in the parish of St Anthony in Otok in 1948. In 1957, after an interruption, the sisters came to Otok for the second time. They again took over the household, the sacristy and the pastoral work in the parish. The community was dissolved in 1991 and the sisters moved to our house in Privlaka, from where they continue to provide pastoral care in Otok.
In 2023, two sisters came from Privlaka to Otok to facilitate further pastoral activities and avoid daily travelling there and back. The current parish priest, Antun Knezevic, advocated for the arrival of the sisters and found a house where the sisters live today. This rented detached house is located near the parish church.
The superior takes care of the community, one sister is busy with the primary school, health and veterinary school and with FRAMA, has religion classes and parish catechesis. One leads the church choir. They visit the elderly and infirm in the parish. The sisters are well respected by the parish community and have a good working relationship with the parish priest.
