The Novitiate of the Central Province, India, is situated in Sitagarha, approximately eight kilometres from Hazaribag town. For many years, the novitiate was at the Training Centre in Hazaribag. In 2022, the novices were shifted to the new novitiate building in Sitagarha. At present there are five second year novices, preparing for their first profession. The seven first year novices are undergoing their initial formation at Sherpur, Patna in North East Province. From this year Indian Provinces have started the common Novitiate for all five Provinces. At present there are 18 first year novices from all five provinces.
