On January 25, a new Vicariate leadership is appointed in the Vicariate of Brazil.
Sr. Cláudia Regina dos Santos is the new Superior of the Vicariate. She will be responsible for the Vicariate for the next three years with Sr. Rosângela Maria Santana da Silva, assistant, and the councilors Sr. Alcenia Barreto da Paz, Sr. Beatrica Krstačić and Sr. Terezinha de Jesus Bernardes. It is for the first time in the 50 years’ history of the Vicariate that a Brazilian is appointed as the Vicariate Superior. We sincerely congratulate Sister Cláudia Regina and the councilors and wish them God’s blessing for the new journey with all the sisters in the Vicariate of Brazil.
