The mission in Perm began in the year 2002. The then parish priest asked for the assistance of our sisters for pastoral and social work in the parish of Perm. The three sisters, Sr. Katarína Jureková (Slovakia), Sr. Petra Krištofíková (Slovakia) and Sr. Filipa Macháčková (Czech) have been working in the parish for the past 18 years and have helped to build up the community life in the parish. They have lived with the people, shared their lot and tried to make something of the Gospel, of Jesus Christ, visible. They have now completed their mission in the name of the Sisters of Mercy of the Holy Cross at the end of last year.
