The ‘La Verna’ community in Lúčka Potoky was founded on 17 September 2000.
The mission of the community is to provide our sisters, priests and lay people with a place for holidays, recollection days and retreats.
There are three sisters living in the community. Two are responsible for the household and one sister is engaged in school and parish catechesis.
The sisters try to be open and service-oriented for those who come to them.
A sister also belongs to the community, who is working in the centre of Blessed Anna Kolesárová in Vysoká nad Uhom (140 km away).
The formation house for the postulancy is located here since 2010. The postulants have been integrated into the community of sisters.
