Our sisters have been living and working in Lendák at the foot of the High Tatras since 2005. The sisters are very much appreciated everywhere. There is a warm relationship with the priests and with the Church staff. It was also nice to see adults and children waving to the sisters again and again.
One sister works as a nurse for the regional Caritas organisation. She is responsible for external hospital care in Lendak and some neighbouring communities. Another sister works as a catechist in the local school. She also directs the children’s choir and will soon be starting to organise an adult choir. The third sister works in the palliative hospice HOSPIC SV. ALZBETY in L’ubica, where she has been employed for around 19 years. As she travels to work by local bus, she also has a good relationship with the local parish.
