Asha Nilayam means Abode of Hope. This community is a home for our elderly sisters. The house was built in 2004. Here, the senior sisters spend most of their time in prayer, meditation, relaxation, and the study of Scripture and other spiritual books. They are engaged in a ministry of prayer. They accept their daily sufferings and pains with joy and offer them to the Lord, praying for many intentions. Therefore, this house is truly a powerhouse of God. They continue to grow gracefully, strengthened by the hope of entering their eternal home.
Currently, the superior and another sister, both nurses, attend to the health needs of the community. When required, Dr. Sr. Laisa Kokkat visits to assess and support their medical care. Our sisters are also delighted to have postulants in the campus, as their presence brings vitality to both the liturgy and life.
