Holy Cross community Sitapahar has 7 sisters and a candidate. They are engaged in pastoral service and, care of the Hostel girl children of around 250 besides running a primary English medium school and collaboration with diocesan Hindi medium school.
The extensive farm and garden produce various crops, vegetables, cereals and pulses. The sisters and hostel children enjoy Seasonal fruits. Also domestic animals are reared.
The church activities are very devotional and the Hostel children nearing 500 boys and girls fill the whole church during the Holy Mass. The children in the hostel bring much joy to the sisters and the sisters love and care for them.
