Holy Cross Convent Mahuadanr

The pioneer sisters reached Mahuadanr in the year 1944. Our sisters are working here more than 77 years. It is a tribal populated area. Holy Cross Convent in Mahuadanr is a big community of 16 sisters and 5 candidates. The sisters are engaged in the school, 5 sisters and 5 candidates are studying in the Jesuit college, and one sister is giving her service in the pastoral ministry in the parish. The school has developed into a Hindi Medium Junior College. The sisters and candidates actively involve themselves in the parish work during special occasions, help in the kitchen and in the garden. The community enjoys the vegetables and fruits of the garden.
