Belatanr is a community of 23 sisters in Jharkhand state of India. The sisters are involved in multiple activities as per the needs of the time and place. The Hospital, school, social work, women empowerment program, Pastoral service, home administration etc are coordinated with lay staff and coworkers. They are very committed and efficient. They find joy in serving in Holy Cross sisters’ institutions and benefit from this. The charism is fully lived out even when challenges and insufficiencies exist, especially in the hospital and school. The General Visitation sessions were a time of deepening their faith and becoming aware of the sacredness of their community life and the spiritual life that sustains them in this complex setup of the mission.
