to seven of our Indian fellow sisters of our North-Eastern Province.
Seven of our Indian fellow-sisters came for two weeks for the first time to the Motherhouse from the Provincial House in Patna (Province “India North East“). Day after day, in the course of these two weeks, the Sisters gained new impressions in and with the strange European culture; they enjoyed the various possibilities of encounter with the sisters of the mother province.
Most of all, there was enough room left for prayer and liturgical services. At the same time, the sisters made use of the unique chance to get to know the environment where Mother M. Theresia had lived and worked in such a beneficial way. Apart from a pilgrimage to the Ranft, the place of Bruder Klaus, the Swiss national saint, a one-day trip to Hegne and a visit to our fellow-sisters in Menzingen, some of our former Indian missionaries enjoyed a get-together for an exchange with these sisters.
