“Sharing Life – Strengthened on the Way”
From 03.02 – 25.02.2017 Sr. Marija Brizar Superior General, Sr. Verena Maria Oberhauser, Sr. Lucila Zovak, Sr. Sheeja Kolacherril and Sr. Dorothee Halbach will conduct a general visitation in the province of Baden-Württemberg.
During the three weeks of visitation, they will spend time with the sisters in personal sharing, to getting to know each sister within her own field of activity. They will also meet the people who have leadership responsibilities as well as the sisters’ employees.
In various prepared sessions, and in the times of prayer, the theme selected for the visitation,”Sharing Life – Strengthened on the Way,”will unfold and will be experienced. It is closely linked to the vision of the Congregation.
The province of Baden-Württemberg was founded in 1895 with the provincial house in Hegne. The province presently has 241 sisters, who live in 18 different communities within Baden-Württemberg. Most of the sisters are located in Hegne.
Under their motto, “Hegne as a Spiritual Place,” the sisters of the province, along with their 292 employees, will present the ongoing organizational processes and all recent developments at the Provincial House, at the conferences and holiday hotel St. Elisabeth, in the Haus Ulrika, Haus Hildegard, Haus Franziskus, Maria Hilf Nursing Home, and in the Marianum Center for Education and Training.
