From 13 – 26 September 2023, Sr. Marie-Marthe Schönenberger, Superior General and Sr. Dorothee Halbach will conduct the General Visitation in the House USA.
This year 2023, the Sisters will celebrate the 100 years of their presence in the city of Merrill, a celebration planned for September 17. A hundred years ago, in 1923, the first Sisters moved to Merrill, and worked beneficially in the school, nursing and pastoral care. To honor Sr. Aniceta Regli, the first Provincial Superior of the USA Province, which existed until 2021, a street sign will be named after her by the City of Merrill.
Within the framework of the visitation, on the feast of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross, the street sign will be inaugurated at noon after a festive Eucharistic service.
During the visitation there will be plenty of time for conversations and meetings with the 20 sisters who are looking forward to the General Visitation.
