The community was established in 1957. The original purpose was to educate tribals girls of this area as there no schools in this part of India. Now there are Hindi Medium School from Kindergarten to 12th class and for 20 years started English medium School. In this campus are more than 2200 students. 490 girls are in the hostel.
The big mission of the community is in education of the youth.
Women were given training for weaving, saving money, bringing up children. Now few women are engaged in Shawl making for their livelihood.
We also find a Health Centre in this campus.
A big farm makes the community possible to be very independent, so most of the food is homemade and they can also share with other communities.
