In three Indian provinces: Central Province-India, Mid India province and South Province India, 8.12.2015 became a special day. Simultaneously it was the opening of the “Year of Mercy” proclaimed by Pope Francis.
In a common solemn Eucharistic celebration, 11 sisters of the Central Province of India and Mid India Province made their First Profession and eight sisters made their profession for life.
Bishop Anand Jojo DD, Bishop of Hazaribag, concelebrated the Eucharist with several priests. The presence of many guests and sisters of the local communities made it a solemn thanksgiving celebration.
Profession for life in the South Province, India
Fr. Joe Mathias, rector of the seminary in Bangalore, celebrated the Mass in the South Province India, where four sisters made their final profession.
Fr. Joe Mathias connected his homily with the “Year of Mercy” and the name of our Congregation.
