The Sisters of the Generalate community bid farewell to Sr. Ernalisa Widmer in a solemn Evening Prayer. For almost six years, Sr. Ernalisa has served as superior of the Generalate community. After spending some time-out, in May, she will take up her new assignment in the community in Rome. We wish Sr. Ernalisa God’s blessing on this her new stretch of road.
After 19 years of service as secretary to the General Leadership, Sr. Beatrice Busch, too, was given farewell. We are grateful to Sr. Beatrice for her dedicated, reliable and multifaceted service in the secretariat of the Generalate, and we wish her now a good time of relaxation. In June, Sr. Beatrice will come back to the Generalate community to take up new tasks.
Sr. Suprabha Kalappurayil, after her first months of introduction, will now take up the assignment as secretary to the General Leadership. For this new beginning, we wish her strength, joy and God’s assistance.
After the evening prayer, the celebration continued with a festal meal and joyous Easter sharing.
