In January 2024, the President of the Swiss Confederation, Mrs. Viola Amherd, agreed to fulfil the request of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Selensky for an international peace summit in Switzerland.
Our Federal Councillor Ignazio Cassis, Head of the Federal Department of Foreign Affairs, is grateful for our prayerful support. Preparations and invitations for this event are in full swing.
The peace talks are planned for 15-16 June on the Bürgenstock.
In consideration of this peace conference, we pray every Saturday evening on the convent terrace with a view towards Bürgenstock.
