Since 2020, the sisters have been living in the so-called ‘new Casa Sant’Agnese’ in Muralto. The house is located above Locarno on Lake Maggiore and was originally built for the Italian-speaking sisters. They are allowed to spend their twilight years in their home environment for as long as their health permits.
The sisters warmly welcome fellow sisters who, after an illness, can find a good place to rest and recover here at Casa Sant’Agnese. The house is also becoming increasingly popular as a holiday resort, as it is only a short distance from the city and Lake Maggiore. The sisters also enjoy holiday visits from our Italian sisters from Besozzo.
During the visitation, Sr. Roberta celebrated her 91st birthday. This was marked by a festive lunch and a joyful atmosphere in the community.
