„In necessary things unity, in doubt liberty, in all things love“
Shortly before his death in Heiden, Father Theodosius wrote these words of St. Augustine in the guest-book. This was in thanksgiving for a musical welcome program for him.
On occasion of the 150th death anniversary of Fr. Theodosius, the Catholic parish of Heiden celebrated a solemn Eucharist. Representatives of the two big Institutes of Sisters of Menzingen and Ingenbohl, had organized the celebration. Capuchin Father, Br Agostino Del Pietro (Provincial of the Swiss Capuchins) had been invited to this Eucharist to give the homily.
The common „statio“ at 2.30 p.m. was especially impressive to the Sisters. Together with Christian Schweizer, archivist of the Capuchin convent in Lucerne, they had gathered in front of the memorial plaque, which had been fixed years ago on the wall of the Hotel Schweizerhof, the place where Father Theodosius had died.
