The parishioners, especially the members of the Third Order, asked the Provincial Leadership to send the sisters to Bošnjaci. In 1948, three sisters arrived and took over the sacristy and organ playing ministry. At first they lived in a small, modest parish house, without even a kitchen, and over time the house was put in order. To this day, the sisters in Bošnjaci work in the parish apostolate.
The three sisters live in the presbytery. In addition to parish pastoral care in Bošnjaci, one sister is involved in parish pastoral care in the village of Topola and in Vrbanja; she helps out in pastoral work. The sisters help the missions by making the handicrafts they sell themselves.
In 2023, the ministry of Pastoral work was opened in Županja in the parish of St Nikola Tavelić: sacristy and parish catechism. This sister belongs to the community in Bošnjaci and still travels to Račinovci, where they teach English in the school.
