Binnaguri community with 6 sisters are involved in educating the children of Tea garden employees. The sisters work very hard to motivate the students who are also poor. But they are excellent in artistic creation and cultural performance.
During the days of visitation the diocese celebrated the centenary of the beginning of the mission by PIME missionaries from Italy. The seeds of faith sown 100 years back produced rich harvest as the catholic community grew in faith and in large number.
