In the Eastern state of India, called Assam the Province has a community in Balipara. One sister is involved in direct evangelization in the far and wide villages and has a good influence on the Christian community.
There are a number of vocations from these villages. 3 novices from this place will make their first profession this year. There is collaboration with Jesuit priests in the mission of education. Sisters also have the opportunity to pursue their studies at a Jesuit college.
