Asha Nikunj was established in the year 2008 as a school with boarding accommodation for cerebral obstructed and hearing-impaired children. At present, there are 125 children up to class 10, taught and lovingly accompanied by the Sisters. There is, moreover, a Hindi-medium primary school with nearly 400 students for the poorer section of the population around.
The Sisters are present and well-integrated in the village, too.
