Amsoi is a small community of three sisters engaged in pastoral and educational ministry in a diocesan school in Assam. The students are from different tribal groups. Some of the girl children stay in the hostel and are well looked after by our sisters.
The community is situated right in the middle of the forest, and they are visited by elephants. They finish up the cultivation done by the sisters. The people of the place and sisters carefully let the elephants have their way.
