The General Visitation in India South Province will take place from 24 October to 30 November 2018. Sr. Marija Brizar, Sr. Elsit Ampattu, Sr. Anna Affolter, Sr. Sheeja Kolacherril and Sr. Dorothee Halbach will be visiting different communities of the Province to be with the sisters and to get some experience of the life and mission in their unique contexts. The theme of the General Visitation is “Developing our community as a spiritual place”. South Province has 35 communities spread over 6 states of India namely Karnataka, Kerala, Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, Goa and Manipur. Each of these states have its own language, culture and tradition. The provincial house is located in Bangalore, Karnataka. At present the Province has 226 sisters, 3 Novices, 3 postulants, 13 Candidates and 9 Aspirants.
