Holy Cross Convent, Darbangha/ Diocese Muzzaffarpur
Already in 1908, the Capuchins had invited the Sisters to the diocese. During the World War I they had to leave the place due to unavoidable reasons. But in 1966 they were invited again by the Jesuits for the school and parish work.
From kindergarten to 12th grade, 2580 students study in this school. Including the principal, five sisters teach in this school.
There are many children in the neighbourhood who do not go to school because of the social situation in the family. These children are a special concern for the sisters. Currently, there are about 150 children who are motivated and collected in the school during school holidays to get lessons from the sisters.
