The General Visitation in the Vicariate Brazil will take place from 19 May to 18 June 2025. Sr Marie-Marthe Schönenberger, Superior General and Sr Gabriele Schachinger, General Assistant, will carry out the visitation in the seven communities.
Since 1966, the Holy Cross Sisters have been working in the predominantly eastern part of Brazil. The communities are located in the states of Bahia, Rio de Janeiro and Amazonas. At present, the 26 sisters are mainly active in catechesis and parish pastoral work, as well as in kindergartens and hospitals.
