The General Leadership and the Provincial Leadership spent the last days of the visitation together in the Provincial House in Wels. The experiences of the last four weeks were reflected on and analyzed in a mutual sharing. In between, there was time for informal discussions, meetings with the sisters of the house community and an outing to St Florian’s Abbey near Linz. We celebrated the Palm Sunday service with the parish community.
This outing also took us to the first place of ministry of the Sisters of the Holy Cross in St Florian. The first sisters in Austria made their first profession in St John’s Church until 1866. Retreats were also given by Fr Theodosius, in which Mother Maria Theresa sometimes took part.
On 14 April 2025, the Provincial Leaders of the Switzerland and Baden-Württemberg Provinces travelled to Wels. Together with the General Leadership and the Provincial Leadership of Europa Mitte, valuable and forward-looking discussions took place.
Grateful for the enriching encounters and the warm hospitality in the many communities that were visited, the General Leadership returned to Ingenbohl on 16 April.
