The retirement and care facility ‘Haus St. Elisabeth’ is run by the Holy Cross Sisters’ retirement, residential and nursing home GmbH. The sisters’ residential area was reconstructed 18 years ago to make it suitable for nursing care. The 21 sisters at Haus St Elisabeth feel well looked after and cared for. They are divided into two groups in the dining rooms.
In the convent church, both communities (convent and St Elisabeth’s) gather for church services and for Lauds and Vespers. A small adoration chapel is located on the 2nd floor of the nursing wing.
The large garden is wheelchair accessible and very well maintained thanks to the involvement of the local gardening association.
