The first sisters came to the parish in 1949 at the request of the then parish priest Kazimir Kelić for the needs of parish pastoral care: organ playing, sacristy and catechesis. They lived in the rectory. They left the parish in 1952; they returned in 1954 and lived in a rented house next to the church. Over time, the sisters bought a dilapidated house, which they converted into their own home. Since 1992, they have been involved in religious education in the village school and in youth work (FRAMA).
On 3 July 2023, two sisters from the community moved to a newly founded community in Otok. The community now consists of two sisters. One sister works in pastoral work in the parish, the other in the household. They offer hospitality to the sisters who come on holiday. The sisters are well respected by the people here.
