A high-ranking visit in gratitude to the sisters
The officiating ambassador of Taiwan in Switzerland, Mr. Bang-zyh-LIU took us by surprise announcing his visit to the Generalate in Ingenbohl, together with his wife and his councillor.
By this visit on 29th June Mr. Bang-zyh-LIU extended the thanks of his people to the Sisters of Mercy of the Holy Cross, who up to this date work in Taiwan towards the uplift and welfare of the Society.
His gratitude was especially directed at Sister Genesia Felder, who just returned to the Motherhouse after 50 years of service in Taiwan and at Sr. Miljenka Schnetzer, who will return to Taiwan in October.
An excellent lunch taken together with Sr. Marija Brizar – Superior General, Sr. Verena Maria Oberhauser, the Taiwan missionaries of the Missionary Society of Bethlehem, Fr. Meili and Br. Laurenz Schelbert, emphasized the good and friendly atmosphere.
