The house is located above Locarno on Lake Maggiore and was originally built for the Italian-speaking sisters. They are allowed to spend their twilight years in their home environment for as long as their health permits.<\/p>\n<p>The sisters warmly welcome fellow sisters who, after an illness, can find a good place to rest and recover here at Casa Sant&#8217;Agnese. The house is also becoming increasingly popular as a holiday resort, as it is only a short distance from the city and Lake Maggiore. The sisters also enjoy holiday visits from our Italian sisters from Besozzo.<\/p>\n<p>During the visitation, Sr. Roberta celebrated her 91st birthday.
