Eleven sisters work in the hospital community, seven of whom work in the various departments of the hospital: doctor, nursing, counseling, dialysis, ultrasound/X-ray, anesthesia, operating room, pharmacy, and hospital administration. The four older sisters perform various services such as gardening, farm work, and housekeeping. They support the community with their prayers.

Originally, the sisters and their staff cared for people with HIV/AIDS. Today, the focus is on general medicine, including the treatment of dialysis patients.

The area is economically underdeveloped and there is great poverty. Many of the people living here have only the bare necessities to live on. As a result, they are often unable to pay for treatment and/or medication. In keeping with the spirit of our founders, Father Theodosius Florentini and Mother Maria Theresia Scherer, the sisters try to help people in need.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]

[11

post-21686","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-news-en
["GET
