The vicariate superior and her assistant live there. They manage the vicariate and are responsible for the sisters&#8217; welfare. Two other sisters support them by handling bookkeeping, administration, and various household tasks.<\/p>\n<p>Two sisters are also involved in the parish and the Conference of Religious Superiors, as their schedules permit.<\/p>\n<p>Together with the sisters in S\u00e3o Jos\u00e9, they celebrate church services and various events. Over the years, the bond with the older sisters has grown.<\/p>\n<p>The house serves as a meeting place for the annual vicariate meetings. Due to the big distances between the different areas of activity in Brazil, the house serves as a home and a connecting bridge within the country for the traveling sisters, as well as with the motherhouse and the other provinces.
