Prof. Gunter Janda&#8217;s request for a recollection house came as a welcome opportunity for a meaningful use. From 1998, Prof. Janda and Sr Edelfrieda Knapp gradually redesigned the rooms and common areas accordingly and Gaubing became a spiritual oasis for many people, characterised by the person and spirituality of Prof. Gunter Janda.
