The purchase contract was concluded on 31 August 1912.<\/p>\n<p>The new Province of Vienna-Lower Austria was founded on 1 March 1913. From 2008 to 2012, the premises underwent a general renovation.<\/p>\n<p>The former Schwarzenberg Palace was converted into 13 apartments for service-based living and Haus Elisabeth was expanded from 96 places to 139.
